Bio

In 2005 the "Clarinet Factory" won the International Songwriting Competition in Nashville, Tennessee. They worked closely with the Czech singer Jana Koubková and visited many European countries as well as Algeria and Senegal in order to widen their musical horizons as they do not only compose music for their own ensemble but also have participated in composing music for ballet and drama. The fresh musical style and unique improvisational skills of the "Clarinet Factory" are greatly appreciated by Bobby McFerrin who invited them to share the stage during his concert in Prague in 2008. Clarinet Factory's recent albums Eternal Seekers (2008 with Lenka Dusilová and Beata Hlavenková) and Out of Home (2010 with Alan Vitouš) were highly rated both among critics and the public. Their most recent and perhaps even most interesting project is a set of multichannel compositions that complete the sound design of the newly opened Museum of Karel Zeman (a Czechoslovak film director and writer).
