"Rep your city"

Stage name: Classic
City: St. Louis
Website: Treehousedistrict.com
My “Show Me State” attitude combined with my Midwest style creates a new form of unheard hip-hop that is quickly gaining attention. With quality lyrical content, unique delivery, and versatile beat selection I merge various subgenres of hip-hop into one to create very a potent sound that sets me apart from the modern day rapper. - Coast 2 Coast Magizine

"Single Review"

Gabriel Brownlee is an up and coming Hip Hop Artist. He uses his artistic lyrics and melody to portray a concept and message with a very original sound. His lyrics flow out in repetition on a steady beat that keeps the groove going strong. We expect to hear more from this artist within the next year or two, and look forward to hearing more tunes. In the meantime, you can check out a single called “No Mo Solo.” - Hardwiredmedia.com

"WWS Magazine interview"

Tell us about where you are from and how you got to this position today.
Born and raised in St.Louis MO. I pretty much linked up with a team of the right people and we all came together to form Treehouse District and Potent Productions.

Tell us more about the current song you are promoting to everyone.
The song I’m currently promoting to everyone is called “Rise and Grind.” The song is pretty much about me and my team being ready to take the next step forward in our career. No more struggling, we’re gonna do what ever it takes to reach our goals. You pretty much get what you put into it.

Tell us about one of the hardest challenges you had to face in the industry?
So far the hardest challenge I’ve had to face in the industry is getting legit shows. Here in St.Louis there’s not a lot of show opportunities like there is in other so called major cities because it’s not huge on the music scene yet. Hopefully that will change in the next few years.

What was one of the biggest set backs in your career and how did you bounce back?
One of the biggest set backs for my team was the group being split up around the country for schooling and job opportunites. I was here in St. Louis, Fade and Banks were in Arizona, Awall in Rolla, Tim in New York. We pretty much just made a positive out of it and did more promotion to create a buzz in different cities.

What are some things artists need to be careful of?
You wanna be on the look out for dead ends. There’s a lot of things out here today that are really not gonna be worth your time and effort and if you can see that from the start you can use all that time on the things that matter.

What suggestions do you have for other artists like yourself?
Stay true to you and your vision. Some people may see it, a lot of people may not. But keep grinding and working on your craft and you will see it start to pay off.

What is one of your favorite ways to promote yourself and your music?
Networking is by far my favorite way to promote, that’s what Treehouse is all about. Find some other artist that are putting in work like you, do some collabs, and do a few shows together and you will see both of your fan base rise. Shout out to 505 Ent!

Where can people visit you?
Treehousedistrict.com. You can also join our group “Treehouse District” on Facebook to get current updates on music, shows, and videos.
