Bio

Robert Tyree Sims (born March 19, 1991), is an American hip-hop recording artist from the Central District area in South Seattle. His mother, Michelle Jackson, moved to Washington from Compton, California in hopes of a better life for her four children, of which Robert was the only boy and the youngest. In Roberts early years his father was absent from his life, and his mother struggled to make ends meet which forced him to move all throughout the Seattle area with other members of his family. During Cla$$icks many transitions in life, because he was the youngest, many of his family members took his possessions and would leave him with very little to survive. From this, he found his home life a constant struggle, and had even more difficulties with school. Around the age of 9 he found interest in poetry, and was further inspired to rap after listening to Notorious B.I.G and Tupac. After starting high school at Chief Stealth in Seattle, he moved to Kent where he attended Kentwood high school. During this time, Robert grew from his basic poetry, and found his natural talent in freestyle rapping. On one of his many bus trips moving his things to from Seattle to Kent, Cla$$ick spent his time wisely by writing lyrics and freestyling on the bus.  Soon enough, he ran into his old friend Mike Lupo who had just began an independent rap label, S.O.T.C (Steady on the Clock Entertainment), and became interested in Cla$$icks natural rapping abilities. This is the spark of their entrepreneurial relationship, together they have started various other companies to build a solid top-to-bottom foundation in their quest of recognition within the hip-hop industry. Things like; Cla$$ick co. their clothing company, and a videography company, they can use to sponsor other artists and make their videos . With Cla$$icks smooth Swiss Cheese flow that uses hip-hop to fill the voids in his life, and with Lupos brilliance in networking manifests into an idealistic, easy to work with duo that is hungry for forward progress in the industry.
