"January 11, 2008"

One gets a hint of Michael Buble, Neal Sedaka and others when hearing Callaway. He’s a very gifted vocalist with stylings and tonal quality to match just about anyone on the market today. Especially on the tender ballads, where Callaway is at his best. - Rod Harrinton - El Dorado News Times

Bio

Vocalist, Clay Callaway, releases his debut album of love songs, of sorts, for gay men and those that love them, "Darn It, Baby, That's Love!" The concept album was created to offer a selection of cabaret, Broadway, and popular songs with a man singing of his love to another man. "We wanted this album give a man to man perspective on some of these songs, most of them written by men, but made famous by female singers," he explains.
This is his first outing, so to speak, with contrasting lush as well as simple arrangements to compliment his smooth vocal stylings. Though his vocal style is unique, Clay Callaway has often been compared to Mel Torme, Neil Sedaka and Michale Buble.
Originally from South Arkansas, he currently resides in Hawaii with his partner of 17 years, Ty Lewis (also featured in a duet of the title track on the album).

Clay is currently working on his second album which will feature several of his original songs.
