Bio

Clay's first single, "The Good Lord Loves You," hit #4 on the Main Country Chart behind Toby Keith, Keith Urban and Brad Paisley. On the Indie Chart it remained at #1 for three consecutive weeks. Clay is approaching 100,000 spins on country radio with both his first single and his second single, "The Devil Scared The Hell Out Of Me", which is playing on country radio from coast to coast.

Clay's soulful Country, Honkey-Tonk sound has been compared to such greats as Merle Haggard and George Strait. Clay was recently nominated for the New Music Awards, New Country Artist Of The Year for 2009. Currently, Clay has a music video of his first single, "The Good Lord Loves You,” playing on GAC and numerous stations nationwide. Look for Clay as a co-host on the television show, Crossroads Live. With appearances on both television and stage, this Country artist is destined for a long career of Country greatness with performances that keep 'em dancing in the aisles.

Clay was born and raised in El Paso, Texas, where rodeos, strong family values and country music were infused in his everyday life. Family values and country music are still at the core of Clay's life today of which he enjoys spending time with his wife and their children. For relaxation and inspiration, Clay also enjoys working on the family ranch, roping and spending time with his family. When at home, Clay listens to all types of music, including Alan Jackson, George Strait, Michael W. Smith, Tree 63, Van Halen, and one of his all time favorites, the Red Rocker, Sammy Hagar.

Above all, Clay loves the Lord Jesus Christ and believes that this way of life has brought him where he is today. Clay looks forward to his 2010 show dates, recently saying: "in front of a crowd entertaining is where I do my best work, that is where I belong!"
