Here’s another singer/songwriter that once again delivers a message that is directed to the unsaved as well as the saved. Sure life throws tough situations at us on a daily basis. The Bible also tells us that it will rain on both the just and unjust, but it’s at these times that we need to reach for the man who was tougher than the nails that put him on the cross for us. Once again I think that Clay Jacobs has given us a great song! I know that my audience will appreciate this song and I know yours will too.

This is the first release from new artist, Clay Jacobs. He wrote this song as well! You Are There is a great song to remind us that God is always there with us. God is always there waiting for us to turn to Him. In our prayer time, God is there to speak to us and carry us through. Clay has very nice, smooth vocals. This project was produced by the great Ken Holloway. Over the years, I’ve heard so many mimic Ken’s voice and style. I am glad that Clay was himself. This is a single to consider!

It has been an awesome year for God's Country Ministries, as Clay was blessed to be able to minister and play in many churches and other areas, spreading the message and songs that Christ has laid on his heart. Clay has been blessed to meet and share the stage with some of his Christian Country Music influences, such as Branded, Justin Todd Herod, Tommy Brandt and the Calvary Cowboys. Clay's newest project, I Pick Jesus, is the second of Clay's album's produced by Christian Country Artist Ken Holloway. I features 12 original songs, 8 of which were written by Clay. This album was released in March of 2007 as a follow up to Clay's 2005 project, Try Something New, which brought Clay many ministry opportunities through original songs such as Tough As Nails, You Are There and Waiting On Jesus Blues.
Sometimes God will bring you on an incredible journey, even when you may not realize that is exactly what is happening. It seems WE always have a plan for what we think GOD should do in our lives, only to find out that if we will just step out of the way and walk humbly with our GOD, He will show us our true destination.....a destination full of love, joy and peace that can only come from our Savior. "I still do not know what God has in store, but I know that He has placed a calling on my life, and there are those who need to hear the word, and that is what it is all about..."
