Housed in Brighton and Portsmouth on the south coast of England, Clayton Strange is the result of a strong bond between four slightly strange friends purely based around a passion for music. After five years of damaging instruments under a different guise, the current band formed in the summer of 2008 and immediately embarked upon writing and performing material that really were, them to the core.
To date the band has played concerts at venues in London, Brighton, Portsmouth, Southampton, Marseille and Montpelier. Clayton Strange considers their key assets to include a musical combination of strong instrumentation and appealing melodies, a vast knowledge of each other’s playing which translates into a tight, exciting live sound, and high levels of professionalism. They aspire to branch out to new audiences and getting emotional reactions to our music, whatever they may be.
