Go Down

Go Down

Based on the Folk Song Knoxville Girl

I met a little girl of midnight
In a town that we all know
And late that Sunday evening
Out to her home I did go

We went to take an evening walk
'Bout a mile outside of the town
said welcome to the Dark Side
And I took that fair girl down;

Chorus
Go down, go down,
To the underworld you go
Go down, go down,
And no one will ever know.
Go down, go down, you Midnight girl
To the underworld you go
Go down, go down, you Midnight girl
No one will ever know.

She fell down on her bended knees
For mercy she did cry
Please dear Don't kill me here
I'm unprepared to die

Repeat Chorus

She never spoke another word
I only wanted more
I showed that girl the dark side
Spilled her blood and it did flow.

Repeat Chorus

Go down, go down,
Go down you midnight girl
Go down, go down, you midnight girl
I'm prince of the underworld
Go down, go down, you midnight girl
Go down.

What Should We Say?

Written By: Derrick T. Copeland

What Should We Say
The Questions Rolling Around Inside my Head
You are the wind
I am the grain
Painting the mountainside
Never complain
Dancing in sunshine
Praying for Rain
Tending the Valley
Watching the flame
Then we turn
Together we burn

Together we learn
La La La La
La La La La
La La La La
La La La La

Together we learn
Chorus
And What does it matter?
And What should we do?

And What should we say?
And What should we choose?

The wind feeds the fire
Ignoring the facts
Consuming the fields
We try to hold back
Calling for Help
We plan our attack
Shouting out loudly
Turning to Black
Turn the page
Together we Rage

Together we Age
La La La La
La La La La
La La La La
La La La La

Together we Age
Repeat Chorus

The rains came to late
We reach for the sky
Washing away
The world passes by
Watching in vain
The Raven birds fly
Hanging on tightly
Living the Lie
And we cry
Together we die

And there is no why.
La La La La
La La La La
La La La La
La La La La
And there is no why.
Repeat Chorus

Sailing to the Underworld

Written By: Derrick T. Copeland

Sailing to the Underworld

Welcome to the dark side.
Won't you come on in.
I'm gonna tell you a story.
Bout the meaning of sin.

He was set apart iniquity he was.
He corrupted Wisdom for his place in the stars.
Perfect in every way, he walks amidst the fire.
Cast to the ground this day before this hour.

He defiled their sanctuaries.
He brought for fire in their midst.
Son of the mourning how art thou?
Can I pass on through the world to the other side?
I'm headed to the underworld.
I have both my coins may I come aboard.
I will go sailing
on in
to the Underworld.
A E I O U and sometimes why?

Based on the PD Blues Song Nobody Knows You When You're Down and Out

Woo
I'm gonna tell you a littlle story bout my life
Sompin Just Happened recently

Once I lived the life of a millionaire,
Spent all my money, I did not have a care.
Took all my friends out for a good time,
Bought bootleg whiskey, champagne and wine.

Yeah I know how to have a good time
You know what I'm talkin about
Then sumpin happened

Well Then I... I began to fall so low,
You know I Lost all my friends,
And I had nowhere to go.
If get my hands on a dollar bill again,
I'm gonna hang on to it
till that eagle s screamin
you know what I'm sayin.

nobody knows you
When you're down and out.
In your pocket, not one penny,
And as for friends,
well you don't have any.

Wooo

And you know When you finally get back up on your feet again,
Everybody wants to be your old long-lost friend.
I said it's mighty strange, without a doubt,
Nobody knows you
nobody knows
Nobody knows you
when you're down and out.

Yeah!
Nobody knows you when you're down and out.
Nobody knows you, without a doubt
Nobody knows you,
Nobody knows,
Nobody knows you when you're down and out.

Little Boots

Written By: Derrick T. Copeland

With All My Love, Derrick
I said Hey… What’s your name?
She said, (bump bump bump) My name is Alice,
We’ll I’m your Mad Hatter,
I’m not here to save you,
But come on, Let’s make our Escape, Yeah

So we danced, and we sang
That night we did most everything
In the little Red Room
With the fire so bright
I still see that look in your eye

Sister likes Little Boots
Sister wears Little Boots
Sister loves Little Boots
So come on and climb up on top, Yeah

Hey baby? You OK?
Breath for me, Baby
I said breath for me Baby
I said breath for me Baby
Don’t You Forget To Fuckin Breath

Sister likes Little Boots
Sister wears Little Boots
Sister loves Little Boots
So come on and climb up on top, Yeh
