Cliff Morrison & The Lizard Sun Band

After a successful 12 year career with Floyd Records, introducing such talent as Jessica Moreno, Necessity & Monique Trejo ( just to name a few), Floyd Bocox, President & co-founder of Lizard Sun Entertainment was presented with an opportunity of a lifetime which was to represent Cliff Morrison, son of the late, great Jim Morrison of “The Doors”.

Cliff Morrison, Born September 2, 1969, a Virgo, heads strong and ambushes as a 17 year veteran of the music industry. Cliff will (in 2008) release two albums in the world market; “Know Peaking” (remastered) and “Color of People”. His first album showed as one of Europe’s best selling albums in 1998, 1999 and 2000.

Cliff, as a seasoned performer, has toured the world circuit and has donated his time and talent for many fund raising music events. He supports many charitable foundations and organizations; Harley-Davidson’s Ride for Life (MDA), Rock Against Diabetes and the YWCA, just to name a few.

Cliff writes and records his own creations and with a voice similar to that of his father’s, has enjoyed success in the industry as well as success in placement of his works in advertising and in motion pictures.

Throughout 2008, Cliff will tour the United States and Europe and will prepare for the release of his third album in early 2009.

The band members are all from San Pedro, California. These gentleman are not only great talent and performers, they are also Longshoremen. Who knew so much talent and Rock & Roll could be found on the docks of San Pedro? Cliff knew because he hand-picked the best of the bunch.

Cliff Morrison & The Lizard Sun Band performed at The NAMM Show @ the Marriot Hotel in Anaheim, California Saturday, January 19, 2008. The show was absolutely a success. There was a huge turn-out. We are also in the process of booking shows for the near future. This is a very exciting time for Lizard Sun Entertainment, as you can imagine. Cliff Morrison’s “Know Peaking” album held the #1 spot on the UK/European charts for two consecutive years in 1997 and 1998. Although “Know Peaking” was never released in the US markets, it had phenomenal success in Europe. We are now pleased to announce his soon to be released album, “Color of People” into the US markets as well as worldwide.

On February 9, 2008, Cliff was a guest host opening day at the Sesquehanna Valley Harley-Davidson “Ride for Life” Fundraising campaign which is the largest Harley-Davidson benefit in the world. This even was also a great success. He will also be performing his second Harley-Davidson event this year at their 105th anniversary August 30, 2008 along with artists such as Bruce Springsteen, Daughtry, ZZ Top, Black Crowes and Buddy Guy, just to name a few.

Cliff Morrison & The Lizard Sun Band will be the first announced act for the online broadcast event from Deep Rock Drive in Las Vegas, August 23rd, 2008. Cliff will bring an eclectic brand of rock to the show, with a smattering of 60's influence, and a hauntingly and unmistakable vocal similarity to his late father. Cliff will even perform a few remarkable covers of some Doors hits.

The Lizard Sun Band is a powerful hint from the past and has taken an incredible leap into the future of Rock & Roll. The music has an eerie power with a familiar voice.
