36 yr old..married with 2 kids..I've been playing acoustic for about 4 yrs..still learning...singing all my life....started in church as a kid and then i messed around with local events such as weddings and even a couple of coffee shops....had a lot of jobs but i always wind up back at the table with the pen and paper...I AM A LYRICIST!...it's what I was born to do and I am inspired,motivated,and confident that I have songs..my life is a constant stream of songs...my songs are my bio..not always pretty but 100% real!...I finally met the guy who inspired me to pick up an acoustic...AARON LEWIS!!!!..I've been a huge fan since the early days...seen him 8 times(4 solo tours and 4 Staind tours)...man,he was so cool to to talk to and it was really a dream come true..but not the dream..my dream is to have my songs and words heard and that they will touch everyone in a way that they can't forget!..I have so many different musical influences ranging from Hank Jr.,Travis Tritt,Alan Jackson,Eric Church,Brad Paisley and of course A.L..STP, AIC,Pearl Jam,Creed, and Metallica....and then The Beatles,Eric Clapton,and Lynyrd Skynyrd....and all the way to Casting Crowns, Jeremy Camp, and Chris Tomlin....I like all kinds of artists but I have a much stronger connection with artists that write their own material...I"m a songwriter and that's that...I'm new at this..all I have is words and a melody...hope you like what you hear..God Bless!
