Clint Campisi Trio (CC3)

Clint Campisi was born in 1978 in Perth, Western Australia. At age 19 he moved to Tasmania where in 2000 he completed his BMus in guitar at the Conservatorium of Music. Clint's desire to further his experience and education as a jazz musician lead him to Europe in 2003 where he studied at the HfMT in Hamburg with Stefan Diez and the Jazz school of Lucerne with Kurt Rosenwinkel. Influenced strongly also by John Scofield, Clint's rhythmical guitar style developed into a jazz-rap-roots style where singing and didgeridoo were incorporated into his songwriting
Catchy melodies, blisteringly bouncy grooves and jazz harmonies combine to create the sound of Clint’s music. Described as "A bowl of groove with a pinch of jazz, a tweak of rap, all smothered over with invigorating harmonic dressing", Clint's latest release “FÉ” is a celebration of his last seven years in Europe.
