Clint Szafader

I've been making a living as a full-time performing singer/songwriter for over 10 years. I often perform solo but also enjoy stepping out of the front & center spotlight sometimes and performing simply as a guitar player, backing up friends or whatnot.
I was born & grew up in Chicago and have since moved around the country alot...living in L.A., New York and Las Vegas, as well and began working as a musician in Tampa in the mid nineties after leaving a lackluster college career about half-way through it.
I've performed in countless venues throughout the area in different bands ranging in size anywhere from six pieces down to one. A couple songs I've written in the past have enjoyed a small amount of radio airplay but I've just released my first full length self produced album titled "Found". I've been working on this in one way or another for the last ten yrs so it really covers some ground & for the most part, I played or programmed every instrument on it. Although, I like alot of new artists, I seem to be more musically influenced by the earlier generations of music from the 60's & 70's as you can see by the list of artists I cover. This is my first real foray into the world as a songwriter & producer so I'm really excited to get it out there and get it heard and hopefully stir up some interest. In the meantime I like staying busy and try to perform atleast 3-4 times a week, if i can. You don't use it, you lose it.
