The Skinny: Clock Strikes XII (CSXII) is a dynamic high-energy alternative metal band from the Northern VA/Washington DC area. The band's style and level of musicianship rivals the likes of Avenged Sevenfold, Bullet for my Valentine, and Alexisonfire. Their live show features anthem-style vocals, melodic guitar riffs, hard driving rhythms, and thunderous double-bass percussion. Clock Strikes XII (CSXII) is a high-energy alternative rock band from the VA/MD/DC/NY area; featuring a 6-piece band of "anything goes" musicians, which put on a killer stage show - giving it 110 percent at your club or music festival.
CSXII brings a brand new flavor to the alternative rock/metal genre.
Modern metal core elements are blended with melodic multi-harmony
guitar, keyboard, and vocal arrangements; setting the band apart on many
levels. The bands unique songwriting style and sound has been compared
to that of popular alternative metal bands; Avenged Sevenfold,
Alexisonfire, Bullet for my Valentine by PureGrainAudio.com.
- CSXII recently performed at the "2014 Millennium Music Conference & Showcase" in Harrisburg PA at the main conference venue Tubby's Nightclub, which was hosted by John Moyer of Disturbed.
- CSXII's original song
"Breathing" is included on the conference MMC 18 Compilation CD. The band's "live" performance was recorded and streamed worldwide by Neue Regel Radio, which showcases the band on their weekly radio show.
- CSXII won the "Alternative Metal Video of the Year" award at the World Music & Independent Film Festival (WMIFF), Washington D.C. (2013).
- CSXII showcased at the "CBGB Music Festival NYC (2013) performing at four (4) top venues to include: The Knitting Factory, The Trash Bar, Metropolitan Pavilion, and Tally Beck Art Gallery (unplugged acoustic set).
- CSXII performs regularly at clubs in the VA/MD/DC/NY east coast rock scene to include: Empire-NOVA (Jaxx), Sonar's (Baltimore MD), Jammin' Java (Vienna VA), The Trash Bar (Brooklyn NY),Tammany Hall (NYC), and others...

The bands soon to be released album "Gasping for Air" is scheduled for a Spring 2014 release. The album was produced by Don Debiase (Studio D/Standby Records) and Rob Skyler (Studio North Recording).
