BAND BIOGRAPHY

Clockwork Noise are a combination of dramatic vocals, cutting lyrics and hook-driven violin lines all tied together with exciting electro beats and powerful guitar sounds.

The band have been described as ‘upcoming and promising’ and ‘a cut above the usual indie-rock standard’ by The Irish Times, ‘fearless’ by tastemaker US blog Rocksellout.com, ‘A band with all the talent and drive needed to succeed’ by Connected Magazine and ‘filled to the brim with warmth and emotion’ by State.ie.

Clockwork Noise are: Robert Maguire (lead vocals, guitar), Chris O’Connor (backing vocals, guitar), Blathnaid Healy (backing vocals, violin), Dylan Nolan (bass guitar) and Michael Fenton (backing vocals, drums).

Clockwork Noise juxtaposes a classical sensibility with a brash indie sound finessed with a smattering of electro drums.

Over Summer 2010 Clockwork Noise have played venues and festivals billed alongside acts such as Cathy Davey, And So I Watch You From Afar and Codes.

Aside from playing live, the band have started to record a full-length album, produced by Torsten Kinsella (God Is An Astronaut). The album, “Whether Machines”, will be released in 2011
