There is a BritPop, sweet electronics of their home-fellows Duran Duran, darker electronics notes of Depeche Mode, a little bit of grunge and even (and this is the weird one), synthesizer work that reminds you of Iron Maiden’s epic album “Seventh Son of a Seventh Son”. Nevertheless, the secret ingredient is there and it makes Clockwork Orange’s music a unique listening experience. - We Speak Musish
Clockwork Orange’s sublime sound – guitar-based with moody, atmospheric electro – is by turn powerful, poignant, sometimes menacing but always with killer hooks. Their spine-tingling and highly visual video for ‘Talking in Your Sleep’, with it’s creepy narrative, demonstrates a deep understanding of their craft, blending a perfect union of sound and vision. - Close-Up Film

Bio
Clockwork Orange are a Midlands based band, from Birmingham and Worcester.
They enjoy working across a wide range of music genres to create their own, distinctive sound.
Following a short hiatus the band, who had previously supported Tony Hadley, Steve Norman & John Keble, reformed with a new line-up at the end of 2011. Since then, they've made two music videos, with film director James Quayle (Helium, The Taxidermist, Shooting Star), for their singles "Talking in Your Sleep" and "Rising Sun", both of which are available on iTunes; played a series of live gigs, including the Friar Street Festival in Droitwich, Liverpool's renowned Cavern Club, and The Bull & Gate in Kentish Town, London. Their album "Talking in Your Sleep" was released on iTunes & other good music stores in January 2013.
The band are currently working on new material and will next play live on Saturday 23rd March, 2013, as one of Jar Music's 'One's to Watch' at the 02 Academy Birmingham.
