Biography

Clockwork Soul is a four piece melodic/experimental rock band based in Dayton, OH. They are a culmination of diversified musical taste, theory, and experience. Over the last decade, they have devoted their time to other projects that have led them on a journey that has influenced and produced what is now known as Clockwork Soul. Clockwork Soul is comprised of Michael Anspach (Guitar), Jason Woolard (bass), Jason Anspach (Drums) and Matt Johnson (Vocals).

Michael Anspach, Jason N. Anspach, and Jason Woolard had joined forces in 2003 to form Mercury at Zero, who over the next 3 plus years has achieved great success in their endeavors including playing with national acts such as: Magni Fi, Lennon, Deconstruct, Soundevice, Bobaflex, and most notably Powerman 5000. Mercury at Zero was also sponsored by Jagermeister. Mercury At Zero took sometime off to regroup and refocus their musical efforts to form a new group with unique music and hooks that will take the rock scene to the next level.

ClockWork Soul was formed in 2008 and the search for a new singer started . Finally in mid 2009, Matt Johnson moved into the Dayton area from Philadelphia. He brings nearly ten years of experience in lead vocals with a Philadelphia based band named "Imprint". His most notable achievements include: Warp Tour 2004.

Now that ClockWork Soul is complete, and the process can begin to achieve the success they have worked very hard for all of their lives. Their goal is to achieve and to bring a musical experience that the world will appreciate, as well as to produce a sound that people can share with everyone they meet.
