Bio

CLOii is the musical project of singer/songwriter and producer Carolina Perez. Based in Miami, FL, Carolina currently teaches electronic music at Barry University and private voice lessons. Her debut album, SLeeP, completed in 2010, was product of a collaboration with Colombian producer and multi-instrumentalist Juan Felipe Bastidas Zapata.

The idea behind the album SLeeP was to construct a unique, sonically-rich world, around each song's powerful emotions. The resulting sound is strikingly unconventional, employing a wide array of elements, from electronic noises to symphonic arrangements. The highly dramatic character of the songs, and the lush atmosphere surrounding them, give the music an exotic authenticity. Although the music is eccentric at times, it maintains an overall aesthetic sobriety.

In late 2010, the band CLOii was formed with the idea performing the music with more interpretative freedom. The band members are: Fabrizio Montero (guitar), Rodolfo Zuniga (drums), Rodrigo Zambrano (bass), and Carlos "El Loco" Bedoya (keys).
