Bio
The Clonferta started playing in local music clubs in 2000, when they played three days a week in the “Gambrinus” of Omsk. Contrary to expectations, the band became popular with their own compositions in English, while most of other bands performed covers or songs in Russian. Untill 2005 they played in diverse clubs in Omsk. The musicians went to rock festivals in Yekaterinburg, Irkutsk, Astana where they were very much welcomed by public.
The Siberian Summer Tour 2011 included gigs in Astana, Kazakhstan (the “Astana-2011” Music Festival) and 2 gigs on Omsk stage (the “Che Guevara” club).
