When you hear the name CMP Squad, brace yourself for a musical adventure.
CMP squad is the metamorphasis of two great minds Yung Clyde and Mademan.
CMP Squad has set out to take their two favorite genre's of music, Hip Hop and Pop
and fuse them together to create their own style and sound they call "HIP POP".
With their off-the-wall concepts, bold lyrics and zany hooks, CMP has created a new
sound the will set them apart from any musical duo you have seen to date. Creating
music that takes you on a journey CMP has officially name their debuted album "The
Adventures of CMP Squad"

Mademan originally from Saint Petersburg, Florida and Yung Clyde originally from Port
Bare, Louisana were from completely different sides of the track. Yung Clyde once apart
of a rap group "Fully Loaded" and Mademan apart of rap group "KDT" would have the
same exact fate when they both moved to Atlanta, Georgia to pursue their solo music careers.
Yung Clyde went on to do open mics and open up for various musical acts while Mademan would
continue writing music till they crossed path in 2008 on the famous site "Myspace"
the two went straight to the studio recording their first single "4 Dem Boyz" which garnered
1,000,000 plays on myspace. From there History was made as they formed the musical duo CMP
Squad.

CMP Squad is a brand and something the music industry has been waiting on for a long time. CMP
Squad has a unique style that you can see coming from a mile a way. The moment they step into
the room people approach them asking "What label are you signed to" and the truth of the matter is
they are not signed.They are independent artists who took the intiative to go out and indepedently put
together their own album which is titled "The Adventures of CMP Squad" which set to release by summer.
They have done many different open mic nights and shows including Hood Hard hosted
by Rocawear spokesmodel DJ Aaries who has also been on rap city.

Many would compare them to "Outkast" when they look at their bold-artful-self styled wardrobe but the
group is nothing like Outkast although they highly admire Outkast for their creativity and great music.
CMP Squad is CMP Squad with original music that could never be duplicated.

CMP Squad found there home at Collab Studios in Alpharetta, GA in December 08 when they decided to change studios.
They met engineer from Chicago Tuan, CEO of Urban Dream Records. They created their first single titled
"Get It" which puts you in the mood of Atlanta Club music which currently has over 18,000 views on youtube and rapidly growing.
CMP Squad took it up a notched when they decided to rap over a pop beat creating their single "Futuristic Swag"
which was an eye opener for the group. From that moment CMP began exploring all forms of creativity building their
musical vocabulary and recording techiniques.

Fusing Hip Hop and Pop together created a cosmic and futuristic style of uptempo music for CMP.

CMP Influences are Michael Jackson, TI, Outkast, Fabolous, Lil Wayne and Jay-Z
