COAMB (aka Cougar On A Meth Binge) is an independent art pop band from Oakland , CA. They incorporate elements of lo-fi psychedelia, surf rock, and soul.
They formed in 2013 and have toured through out California, Nevada, Utah, and Oregon.
COAMB's latest project is a five track EP based around the dream diaries of their lead singer Lauren. The Dreamy Pea is strongly influenced by DIY indie rock, 90's hip-hop and modern bedroom pop. (Release date: Nov 9th 2018)
The Dreamy Pea follows the bands debut full length album, Light In You, which was released on March 18th 2016. Produced by David Nereo, (Luluc, Everyone Is Dirty, Cave Clove and Ayla Nereo) at Santo Studio in Oakland, Light In You has received airplay on KFJC and WMFU and critical acclaim from some of the Bay Area's most respected music critics and promoters.
In 2016 COAMB played the first Harmonic Reduction Music Festival with the likes of Tune-Yards, Blackalious, Del the Funky Homosapien, Foreign Legion and Foxtails Brigades. Pass festivals also include Summer Spontaneity.
