"Caroline Smith and the Good Night Sleep & Coastal Remedy"

The Coastal Remedy opened the night. This was our second time of seeing the young band play. The first was in the opening spot before Ash at the Altar Bar in April.

They will be a local band to watch as again they proved a talent beyond their age.

While covers are normally just tossed into a set as a lifeline for the audience to grab hold of, the Costal Remedy’s cover of Pink Floyd’s “Comfortably Numb” was pretty damn good. No. Nix that, it was damn good, considering that is not your average pick and not the most easy song to go for as a cover. I liked it and I hate with a passion Pink Floyd. What more of a ringing endorsement do you need?

Of course, their original material was strong, but the cover was a highlight that was completely unexpected. - Swerve Magazine

"New Releases"

A diverse set of 11 songs from the Indiana, Pa.-based rock four-piece. This is a good-sounding LP, but at times seems to reach a bit too far from sound to sound: Some of the tunes are epic, others simple, groove-based pop. Nothing wrong with either, but it can be a rocky ride as an album. Excellent vocals, and beautiful production from Klint Macro. Talented young guys here.

"FEATURE FRIDAY LOCAL (COASTAL REMEDY)"

Coastal Remedy is an up and coming band out of western PA. Coastal Remedy blends the ambient and progressive elements of post-psychadelic rock with the radio-friendly “catchiness” of alternative rock. They’ve just released their debut album with distinguished producer Klint Macro.
The band is comprised of four members, Max Bizousky(Lead Vocal, Rhythm Guitar), Adam Hess(Lead Guitar), Matt Snyder(Bass Guitar), Stefan Petrigac(Drums). The members reside outside of Pittsburgh in a small town called Indiana.
The band plays frequently within the city as well as other parts of western Pennsylvania. They have had three successful shows at the Hardrock Cafe in Pittsburgh. They were selected as one of the bands to play in 105.9 the X’s 7th Annual Winter Rock Showcase.
The band is a tight knit group of guys that all share a passion for music. While the debut album is impressive, their live shows are a transcending listening experience and shouldn’t be missed.
