Co-Audio

From an early age Dan knew music was his passion. He started playing saxophone in the fourth grade and found inspiration is Coltrane’s Giant Steps. Then, years later, he picked up guitar to learn Jack Johnson songs. Colorado Springs, Colorado may not seem like the place where a love affair for West Coast Acoustic Rock, Classic Funk, Swing, Electronic, Euro Rock and MidWest Hip-Hop would blossom into the project Co-Audio, but it did. While studying music and Theology in college, Dan started the project after hours and hours spent listening to Postal Service’s album Give Up. He was inspired to experiment with electronic sounds and see if he could create anything close to Postal Service’s album. The resulting music wasn’t quite what Dan expected, but a sound worth developing was found. Dan is now married and lives in downtown Phoenix, Arizona. When he isn’t working on his Co-Audio project, Dan is working as a bartender/server. When Dan isn’t working on either he enjoys drinking a well crafted brew, eating a brilliantly built sandwich, having a conversation about greater things, but most of all, doing anything with his wife Erin.
