THOSE electro rockers Cobra Grande have sent me a wee preview of their latest tracks. A favourite at Soundcheck the three new tunes showcase their ever increasing musicianship. Sun Xplodes is blissed-out Screamadelica travelling in a Ferrari down a freeway in Florida. Scrunching the Miami Vice tune with early Human League, it's not even the strongest of the songs. That goes to the Asian-beat tinged The Void. A paranoid letter of love, it slithers into your brain. Third track 237 Heaven hoofs up the tempo, making a twisted pop song complete with rock guitars.
