Coby DeMaria

Coby DeMaria was born in 1982 in a small town in Melbourne, Australia. She has had close to 20 years of stage and musical experience, with musicality flowing through her every vein! A prolific songwriter, Coby has been playing piano since the age of six. At 14, she discovered her talents on the guitar, and also began honing her natural vocal ability. Throughout high school, performing, writing and arranging music became Coby’s main passion. Before she had even graduated, she had multiple bands, tours and original recordings under her belt! It seemed only natural that she continued to study her craft once school finished, so she furthered her quest for musical knowledge at Box Hill College of Music.
Coby’s original songs, which have been performed at various venues around the country for over 10 years, communicate to a wide audience through a variety of musical styles. Her song writing and musicality have been recognised and rewarded all throughout Melbourne. As well as being an active performer, Coby also teaches vocals, theory and performance both privately and at various community events. Her gifts of musical arranging and vocal directing come to the fore in the beautifully constructed songs she is consistently producing.
Coby's main influences include the likes of Stevie Wonder, Neil Finn, Kelly Clarkson, Indigo Girls, & John Mayer.
