In da midst of the "hiphop civil war" between so called "true hip hoppers" vs the "club go-ers" and the old generation of artists vs the new, it seems as if everyone is in a box, taped up and ready to be shipped out, via internet. But deep down in a legendary city best known for jazz, mardi gras and katrina lies Codac, a rapper who expresses different boxes.

Born and raised in new orleans, the second youngest of five children, Codac excelled in school, sports and art at a young age. Always infactuated with words, he naturally took an interest in poetry. But it wasnt until new orleans' own no limit and cash money records dominated the industry that Codac began to seriously put those words to beats. Soon after, Codac found himself with notebooks full of rhymes with no clue of what to do with them.

Codac was soon introduced to his manager by a mutual friend and began studying hip hop as an art as well as a business and set out to perfect his songs one bar at a time, living by three words, practice, practice, practice. After studying the mistakes of artists, the great business decisions of the industry's heavyweights and the talents of his favorite artists, Codac combined it all, added his own spice and is prepared to take the entertainment world by storm.
