Bio

Ray "Shark D" Hawthorne is originally from New Jersey, and Michael "Premo Stallone" Girgenti, from Chicago.  Both having a long history and background of music met on accident or some would argue fate inside a Los Angeles recording studio unaware of the future ahead of them. After quickly identifying their mutual music connection / interests, they agreed to form a duo. Michael not long after this decision moved in with Ray where they began to write and produce music day in, day out. Before settling and becoming "Codename Ghost", the boys went through a few trial and error groups along the way. Moving forward as Codename Ghost they started to immediately release music on the internet like they've always done and shot street music video's as much as they could hoping to get more local shows and attention. After only a few months "CNG" began to perform consistently up and down the infamous "Sunset Strip" and many other LA venues later opening for platinum selling rap artist "French Montana" in San Francisco.

After the Montana Frisco show their "Low Key Famous"  album was accepted to be sold in the Amobea Record Store's both in Hollywood and SF. Codename Ghost also started to obtain respect from other industry artist such as Kanye West's "Big Sean", Def Jam Recording artist "Jeremih", with many other independent acts like "G-Eazy, T Mills, Mod Sun,  and Bobby Brackins" which they have received video shout outs from.

CNG went on a small hiatus not long after the San Francisco success, leaking their recorded album "Really Fuckin' Famous" on the web few months back as they prepared for their triumphant return.

Codename Ghost now fully back and ready to attack  have released their newest original piece "JAMS" which has a more alternative hip-hop approach. Always keeping things fresh, CNG are taking the more live instrument angle to their presentation making them more than just a regular duo but the rap game's first white kid hip-hop band.
