Code Sumari (Soo-Mar-ee) is the electronic production team of two Cleveland veteran night club Dj's turned musicians. Vocalist and keyboardist Garrett Moeller and Drummer Scott Doland, accompanied by featured vocalists Donna Tohme and Amy Arida. Code Sumari's electronic music is a hybrid of the gritty sounds of MGMT and the dance vibes of Deadmau5.
The featured singles "Zeros and Ones", and "2012", are cuts from our premier album 'Resident Alien', a conceptual album that highlights the perspective of an ancient Sumerian extraterrestrial studying and experiencing our greed-driven civilization. The song "Zeros and Ones", highlights the binary code and its domination of society and offers a dance club vibe and chorus. The song"2012" explores our need to celebrate, in spite of prophesized doom, with an underground electronic feel.
