"David Calzado y su Charanga Habanera, Tipica Toronto Y Zona Franca juntos en concierto"

A continuación, salió a escena el grupo Zona Franca, que con ritmos de reggaeton cubano fue calentando el ambiente, mientras los asistentes disfrutaban de la fiesta bailando, tomando alguna bebida, o sirviéndose deliciosos bocadillos y deleitándose con una fuente de chocolate, en el caso de aquellos que tuvieron la suerte de estar en la zona VIP del escenario - Toronto Hispano

Bio

Fusion reggeaton, a generous layer of salsa and Cuban ballads, mixed in with hip hop, house and tropical island flavors is the best way to describe Codigo 24!
This duo is, dynamic and determined. Relocating from Cuba to Canada four years ago they now have aspirations to move people with their music as they once did in Cuba! Growing up in city of Holguin Jose and Daiquel formed a tight bond of brotherhood; with the creation of music coming together naturally. Codigo 24 continues to develop musically and incorporate the sounds of contemporary Cuban Ballads and hip hop. Delivering the music of today's generation, they write and orchestrate all of their own music. Currently working with famed producer Derek Brin, they are on a path of success!
They have performed throughout Cuba, on national TV, and in numerous festivals and resorts. The dynamic combination of these energetic and experienced musicians became known as "The Machine".
Their resume is already quite impressive since being in Canada; they played the famed Lula Lounge in Toronto, were asked to perform at the Toronto Hispanic Festival. They opened for Elephant Man at The Foundation in Barrie. At The Docks in Toronto they went on stage right before Charanga Habanera with guest DJ Trambo to fire up the crowd. They gave a crowd a thrilling set at Alexis Y Fido. In Winnipeg they participated in a Fund Raiser with the Red Cross to raise funds for their native island of Cuba and Haiti following Hurricane Ike. Codigo 24's reputation as being able to deliver an energetic crowd pleasing show is apparent as they performed with Teria at The Taste of Danforth this summer.
They are now focusing on capturing a larger audience and more radio air time doing what they do best, Making Music.
