Cody Murphy Grew up in the Mississippi Delta, the home of the blues.The area is the poorest place in the US. After making bad decisions which seem to be the norm of the area he found him self on a path headed straight for prison. Looking for a change in life he was invited to a youth conference in Daytona beach called student life. It was at that conference in 2010 that he decided it was time to live a better life and escape from the darkness he’d been living in. with lots of ups and downs it wasn’t until he met his wife and had their first child that he really tried to better himself. Still being scared to fully admit to his past friends that he no longer wanted to live the same way he still found himself lingering in the company of bad decisions. He started to make music in a secular genre where he found a little success. His first single receiving numerous radio plays in the local area was removed from the radio due to being requested too many times. After a friends death he felt very compelled to share a more positive message to help save people from their destructive ways. Thats when he started to make christian music but being under the same name as his secular music it was always linked back to his negative influence. while reading the Bible he came across the verse EZRA 10:4. Thats when the Tenfo music idea came together. Now with his own studio he records and mixes/masters for local artists. Trying to help other artists build their dreams. Encouraging them to RISE UP, TAKE COURAGE, AND DO IT.
