"Magical"

f the word “magical” can be used about a concert, this was the moment where the audience was spellbound (…) A concert which entered my body and stayed there when I left the hall and will stay there for a long time.

ABOUT CODY
Started out by lead singer and songwriter Kaspar Kaae in 2004 CODY has through the years evolved into a collective of talented musicians. And with hushed, melancholic, yet vital and out-going melodies, CODY has made their own trademark on the alternative country scene.

CODY’s debut EP released in January 2009 received 5 out of 6 stars reviews in all the leading music magazines and newspapers in Denmark. But the Danish critics went even more madly in love with the album ’Songs’ released later that same year. The album reached the top 10 charts as one of 2009’s best Danish album in three leading nationwide newspapers as well as the number one music magazine Gaffa had the album on their top 10.

Besides making Top 10 charts recordings CODY is a remarkable, intense and hardworking live band – playing both acoustic and electric setups. Playing numerous shows in and outside their native Denmark, including five tours in Germany, Switzerland & Benelux the last two years and five tours in the state of New York CODY has become one of the best live bands in Denmark.

During the years CODY has also been invited to support acts like Black Francis (2007), The National (2008), Bonnie 'Prince' Billy (2008), Tindersticks (2010) and Band Of Horses (2011).
