Since the age of 13 when he picked up his first cheap acoustic guitar Cody Scott has excelled into more than just average musician not only by teaching himself how to play guitar but also drums, bass, keyboards, and is also a vocalist. Born and raised in Scranton, Pa. Cody did not start his musical career until after relocating to Angier, NC. in June of 2005.With musical influences such as Aerosmith, Hinder, Bon Jovi, A Day to Remember, 30 Seconds to Mars, Blink 182. and living out in the country with nothing to do at the young age of 13 he obsessed himself with learning how to play the guitar. Not long after, he started his first band and released his first cd which had a very good response. He then wrote recorded and released his second cd with his new band and went on to receive a very loyal following and heavy cd sales. Playing well over 300 shows in less then three years up the east coast as far as NYC and west to Tennessee winning numerous battles and gaining recognition everywhere they went he decided it was time to focus on his solo project.Not rushing the writing process and musical creativity only seeking to produce the best product he could not only for himself but for the people who will listen to his music. All of the hard work has since paid off because now the time has come for the debut song off his soon to be released new solo cd to be released to the public A Chance To Risk It All.
