CoJack & Short Stop

St. Louis, Mo natives, Courtney Larell Jackson better known as “CoJack”, 21 years old and younger brother, Michael Anthony Dotson better known as “Short Stop”, 18 years old have been inspired by music since their early ages of childhood. These two musically inclined brothers has collaborated their individual genres of music to create a unique blend of Rap, R&B and Hip Hop. This dynamic duo has been recording tracks separately and collectively since 1998 and is currently working on a joint venture which combines Neo Soul, R&B, and Rap. Currently CoJack and Short Stop have recorded new innovative songs to inspire a widespread audience of music lovers. Songs such as “Cut Buddy” and “You Don’t Know” intertwines CoJack’s melodic voice with Short Stop’s catchy rap flows. Both CoJack and Short Stop share many of the same musical influences, such as 2 Pac Shakur, Notorious B.I.G., Stevie Wonder and Michael Jackson. Both men have an impressive resume which includes CoJack’s past experiences; American Idol, Missy Elliott’s Road to Stardom, Southeast Missouri State University “Idol” Competition, The Ambassador Night Club and The Apache Café. Short Stop’s past experiences include Coca Cola Talent Competition, Comedian Joe Torre’s Celebrity Basketball Game, The Ambassador and four consecutive free style battle wins at Evening Shades Night Club. Future endeavors include showcases, television appearances, interviews and more studio recordings.
