Tulsa resident, singer-songwriter, Joel Wade wraps his sophmore solo project.
A Vancouver,Canada native, Joel cut his first record at sixteen years old with west coast rock band Stallion Thumrock. Recorded at A&M studios in Hollywood, he worked with Grammy Award Winning Engineer/Producer Tommy Vicari. Singing, writing and playing guitar and bass since childhood, Joel has performed and produced numerous recording sessions with world renowned musicians including Ringo Starr, Harry Neilson, Bob Rock, Billy Osborne and Ric Emmett.
Working with his brother Brett Wade, the Wade Brothers album, released on CBS Records Canada, gaurnered two top ten hits. Following CBS Records, Joel signed an international songwriting deal with BMG Canada & released a top 40 U.S single "It's Natural" co-written with Billy Osborne.
Joels family roots run deep in music, going back to his great uncle, classical tenor great Jussi Bjeorling. Bjeorling is considered by many to be the greatest operatic tenor of all time.
Influenced by a wide range of singer/songwriters from Stevie Wonder to Joni Mitchell, the warm and soulful sound of his voice captures everyone who hears it.
Joel owns & operates Blue House media, a film/recording facility in downtown Tulsa, Oklahoma.
