Bio
Scarborough, Ontario is where I was born and raised and have called home for 25 years. Ever since I can remember I have been singing and dancing around the house for whomever would listen. I've always had a respect and appreciation for music of all genres. As a little kid I remember enjoying the way the melody of a song made me feel. I was about 12 years old when I wrote my first song. My intention then, as it is now, was to create something that would last...something with a strong melody that struck me in the same way as that great music I would hear.
In 2006 I earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Acting at Ryerson University. This intense and diverse program prepared me for the pursuit of my musical passion and helped me to effectively translate my skill for writing into great music - music that has many influences, one of which stands out.
Michael Jackson has been my idol since the day I left my mother’s womb. To me, he is the personification of hard work, extraordinary talent and most importantly: understanding what entertaining is all about. Michael will forever be a major influence in everything musical that I do.
What sets me apart from other artists is my attention to melody. My dedication to weaving together different sounds or beats into a final musical mosaic is evident from start to finish. Not only is my aim to present excellent musical entertainment, I also aspire to make listeners ‘feel something’. I want to give my audience a song/music that will stay with them beyond their first listen. Something that will remain in their minds years later. The power of this endurance, I believe, lies is in the fusion of great lyrics and a timeless melody.
