"Colin Schiller and The Reactions - Dizzy - New Music Video"

What do I love most about this video besides the sensual vibe, Del look alike and the sensual Del look alike?

The promoted video on my first view of this was for Mens Chest Waxing Demo. What more can I say? I mean, some pussies only have the sensibility to make fun fucking music, but then some motherfucking gangster ass pussies make sure their awesome video is sponsored by a chest waxing outfit from San Bernadino.

Colin Schiller and The Reactions are a rag tag group of misfits fit for a schwin, and are proud to call French Lick, Indiana home. While they were recording their most recent album, three of the members found Jesus and subsequently hired him to finish their basement studio because of Jesus's reputation as a genius spackle mack.

What else do you need to know besides Colin Schiller and The Reactions are fucking intelligent. responsible and appreciate the handiwork of a savior? - SYFFAL

"Our video "Dizzy" is Aol Spinner video of the day"

Artist: Colin Schiller and The Reactions
Video: 'Dizzy'
Highlight: "'Dizzy' is a song about having a super crush on someone who you only get to see in short spurts," Colin Schiller tells Spinner. "When she's around it's intoxicating and when she's not the mind goes wild with fantasies! Who knows if she notices but it's more about the chase and the eventual victory! The video brings the song into a visual experience and focuses on the fantasy in the form of an actual dream. I really wanted to get across the good-natured intentions I had in my mind when I wrote this autobiographical song. My good friend Kenley Collins (Project Runway Allstar) was my obvious choice for the leading lady! Christie Brinkley and Billy Joel, eat your heart out!!" - AOL

""Dizzy" video on MTVu's Freshman"

Brooklyn's Colin Schiller and The Reactions beat out 3 other hopefuls in MTVU's Freshman video competition. Voters had 4 days to vote to determine which video would be added to regular rotation on MTVU. Colin Schiller and The Reactions "Dizzy" finished first with 48% and was the standout video. This "old school MTV" style video features Project Runway Season 5 (and soon to be aired Project Runway Allstar) Kenley Collins as Schiller's dream girl. The video will be added to MTVU programming this Monday and will be shown a minimum of 25 times a week - Deli Magazine

It was a tough battle, but Colin and his band beat out the competition and will now be added into regular rotation on mtvU! Nice work, sir. Nice work. - HIP Video Promo

"Colin Schiller & The Reactions Are Your Favorite Video Of The Week POSTED OCTOBER 21ST, 2011 BY MTVU"

Colin Schiller & The Reactions and J Dash ran away with all the votes on this weeks Freshmen with Colin Schiller narrowly edging out J Dash to take the victory. “Dizzy” will be added into on air rotation next week but we have to give props to J Dash and his obviously fervent fan base as well. We’ll be back next week with five new bands to peruse. Till then. - Mtvu.com

"Dizzy Goes For National Video Adds"

Time to turn those serious blues into a smirk programmers! It’s Andy Gesner and the HIP Video Promo staff, here with an artist whose mantra is simple: “Life’s too serious… rock n’ roll shouldn’t be.” Colin Shiller & The Reactions brings together classic sounds with his staple brand of nerdy glam to mix up the zany concoction that is “Dizzy,” a song that is as mainstream as it is the furthest thing from it in the best way possible.

In a musical climate where artists often play insecure or to cool for school, Colin Schiller & The Reactions are the anti-matter of the hipster Brooklyn universe, in which they coexist. Schiller is a bit of a throwback to the days of Huey, Costello, and The Boss with just the right twist of light hearted nerdiness. “Dizzy” is tasteful and simple glam rock at its finest, featuring the feel good vibe of the 80’s to get you away from the not so feel good reality of life. Hailing from Brooklyn, New York and being front and center with the cutting edge hipster musical trends, Schiller knew his only chance of mental survival was to create a show he would want to see. And that is why you won’t find any trendy fads here, besides explosive dynamic hooks that have been trending since the start of pop music. “Dizzy” is laced with Springsteen guitars and vocal echoes, recorded at the famed Vacation Island Studios (MGMT, Gang Gang Dance, Lemonheads). The band has gained great notoriety amongst their peers, but also some seriously crowning moments with the critics! Colin Schiller and The Reactions are part of The Deli Magazine’s “Top 300 Indie Rock Bands” thanks to their fantastic debut record Endless Holiday. Although the band only hit stages in the last year, they have already rocked CMJ Music Festival, Dewey Beach Music Conference, and popular New York clubs like The Mercury Lounge and The Knitting Factory.

The “Dizzy” video centers around Schiller as he wakes up from his slumber, donning a one piece pajama outfit, to do one thing – attain the love of a pinup chick. This isn’t just any average girl either, it’s Bravo’s Project Runway finalist Kenley Collins, cast as the object of Schiller’s affection. He hilariously stalks her all day long, appearing everywhere she goes as different characters, in a Master Of Disguise sort of courting method. Eventually he wins her over as she appears at his door the following morning with a love note. Although it takes the entire duration of the clip for Kenley to see Schiller for the alluring heartthrob that he is, the rest of the viewers will be hooked on him and his flavorful brand of pop rock in the first several seconds.

We love working with artists that offer something new to the table, while honoring the classic gods of rock, which is why we are so thrilled to bring you this upbeat and star studded clip from an artist that truly deserves your playlist attention. We also have copies of Endless Holiday available for you to check out, so be sure to let us know if you’d like some! If you need more info, call Andy Gesner at 732-613-1779 or e-mail us at HIPVideo@aol.com. "One Jenny Video Release!"

"Endless Holiday", Colin Schiller and The Reactions’s debut record, is a bit of a throwback to the days of Huey, Costello, and The Boss with just the right twist of light hearted "nerdiness". The band's full-on fun-antics bring back that old feeling of sincere and earnest rock n' roll that never comes up short on the charisma and entertains crowds. Colin Schiller and The Reactions recorded the album at Vacation Island Studios (MGMT, Gang Gang Dance, Lemonheads) and it will be released Aug 2 on Milk It To Deaf Records" - (as posted in The Deli's Open Blog - post your band's entries, videos, and Mp3s here). "Colin Schiller & the Reactions"

In 2010 N.Y. native Colin Schiller decided it was time to put together a band that would celebrate life's excitement through music and simple stories. Colin Schiller and The Reactions are on a mission to bridge the the gap between the performer and the audience with catchy, friendly, concise rock n' roll and a love for 80's pop culture. Schiller has always been a natural born entertainer, both on and off the stage and spent years as as "the maniacal drummer who sang harmony" in Brooklyn's vast rock scenes. Some of these bands accomplishments include stints on the Vans Warped Tour, CMJ Music Festival, as well as other national and regional tours opening for artist such as David Lee Roth and sharing bills with Taking Back Sunday and Katy Perry. Schiller also moonlighted as a well known karaoke/party host and promoter in Brooklyn's Williamsburg and New York City's East Village club/bar scene. Enter California native bassist/producer Jacob Silver (Pete Seegar, Tao Seegar, The Mammals, The Shalants), a good friend who shares a common love for karaoke and Huey Lewis and The News. Together they began working on the bands debut E.P. "Endless Holiday" (which is slated for a 7" inch/digital download release in late summer 2010) The band and the recording project has grown to include guitarist/vocalist John "Lucky" Wlaysewki, guitarist/saxophonist/vocalist Geordie Austen , saxophonist Joey Johnson , trombonist Andrew Hagerty, and keyboardist Rick Smith (who is also mixing the record). The video for the first single "Dizzy", features Project Runway Season 5 alumni Kenley Collins.
