Feeling a bit camera shy
Bio
Colin started writing in 1981 whilst he was in his first "original" band. He admits, as he looks back that the songs he wrote back then were "non-hit" material. It took a chance meeting with an industry Great (Dec Cluskey of the Bachelors) to turn Colin's ability into a commercial venture.
Colin is influenced by a wide range of musical styles, from the classical music his father played constantly when he was a young child, to the depths of Heavy metal.
Colin likes to write something he can "move" to, remember and walk down the road humming.
Colin has received countless positive comments about his hit songs, the most repeated one being "the melody goes straight to your ear".
Colin has a current publishing deal with Hiteration Music.
