Bio

After taking a brief hiatus in 2006 to become a parent, Dublin rapper Collie returned in 2007 with his second full-length album “How Things Change…”, released on his own independent label, Bad Mood Records. Life has indeed changed for this true-blue Dub since his Meteor Award nomination, debut release “Is Ainm Dom” and performing for audiences of more than 100,000 people, he has moved half-way across the country to the ‘real’ capital of Ireland, Cork, and has become a parent all in one foul swoop. The subject of fatherhood features heavily in his new release (the front cover even features him holding his young daughter), but you can rest assured he’s remaining true to his own inimitable style. Featuring guest appearances from Dublin & Cork artists alike (including Redzer, Nu-Centz, Anto Yau, An Buachaill Dana & GMC), and production from the likes of Scooby and Ratman, go to www.myspace.com/collie to check local availability or purchase his new album directly, and view his upcoming shows.
