We are CO-OP ( Colorado Operations ) Representing the box state, this brother-sister duo Napolean and Victoria were bred out of New York but have grown up here in CO.
Napolean found his sound when he was 19 and quickly developed into a quick spittin, aggressive, mainstream but lyrical rapper. After watching a battle and was forced to spit, never one to back down he rose to the challenge and Napolean was born. Hard, raw, explosive and creative.
Rebel Queen, emcee/singer started poeticly through pen but lyrically she comes harder than most dudes. She's been rapping since she was 18 and is rapidly evolving, carving her flow into hip hop's marrow. Combining soulful melodies and powerful lyrics, she's in a realm of her own.
Two different styles of music but together, Co-Op fuses perfectly, creating a different sound that stands out among the rest. Conscious Hip Hop that stays true to self and all the elements. It's not just giving people something to dance to, we're telling stories, creating visual poetry on the stage...this is music full of soul. In a world that force feeds you conformity to be an individual is a revolution and that's what we hope to spark in others with the music we make.
