Bio
Colossus of Rhodes is Metal(ish) band from Lubbock, TX. Their music is an integration of sub-genre metal and punk with influences that include but are not limited to, Every Time I Die, Coheed and Cambria, Protest the Hero, Thrice, and Alexis on Fire. Colossus uses hardcore breakdowns, intricate guitar riffs, and fast tempo beats to accompany their harmonizing vocal stylings. Colossus has been privileged to share the stage with many local Texas artists and Many national acts. Some national acts include, Sevendust, Asking Alexandria, Haste The Day, Under Oath, and Attack Attack. While onstage, Colossus displays performances that demonstrate the beauty and aggressive nature of their music. They also incorporate humor and wit into their sets to help the audience feel as if they are apart of the show; not just there to watch. Colossus is a band that exhibits great skill, wonderful melodies, and the fun live performances that is sometimes lost with many others in the industry.
