Bio
During an improvised jam in October 2010 with members of rock legends Guns N Roses, bass player Craig Cowley, drummer Brodie Staniforth & guitarist/singer Easy Chalmers met vocalist Emily Wharton. Guitarist Will Healey then joined the band in January 2011 and Colour Change for Camouflage was formed.
With their very original and inspiring sound, each time the band perform it’s like a one-off event. With their philosophy to love life, be happy and have fun their on stage energy is a real treat to see. They have many influences including indie, ska, hip-hop & rock. Their first year together as a band has certainly been one to remember. Highlights undoubtedly have been jamming with Guns N Roses, playing on the main stage at the Alex James Festival and winning the Oxford Battle of the Bands at The O2 Academy in Oxford. They were described by the Alex James Festival promotors as ‘one of the freshest new Oxfordshire sounds’.
