Colour Me Dragg

Colour Me Dragg has been around for four years now. Our first show premiered back in February 2006 with a lineup of 8 performers at Toronto's renowned Buddies in Bad Times Theatre. Since then, our stage has been graced by the some of the best and up and coming performers in the drag, burlesque, spoken word, and musical artist communities. All the while performing to filled-to -capacity shows at the Gladstone Ballroom and most recently, Buddies in Bad Time's Theatre. Our performance music stylings range from hip hop, to bollywood, to contemporary, to rock, to swing, and so much more! Our goal has always been to empower and inspire as performance artists of colour. In addition to promoting visibility of perofmers of colour, we aim to give back to the community by raising funds and donating to groups and organizations who support the queer community of Colour in Toronto and/or connected to Toronto. Every year we grow bigger and bigger; politically, as a community, and in performance quality. One of our highlights within our 4 year career has of course been our 15 minutes of fame on local television, CP24, when our 2009 Pride event was featured in a live broadcast.
