*combat!
an unexpected performance art/light show left our audience amused and entertained as if watching some electro jester performance in the high chamber of the royal IDM. i got the distinct pleasure of cleaning up their aftermath, they were amazing....definately will be back.

Bio
Inspired to make music on his own, Mark Nieto began using the computer as a composing device. After being in bands for many years and picking up various instruments, he began to experiment with samplers, sequencers, and software. Soon he had developed a sound which he dubbed, COMBAT!. COMBAT! played a few shows around Los Angeles and caught the ears of some of his peers. Bored with laptop performances, he began incorporating live instruments into sets and is slowly moving away from electronics. Sounds similar to: Prefuse 73, Four Tet, The Books, Caribou, Man Man, Crime in Choir, Black Dice, and Holy Fuck.
Has shared the stage with such acts as: Daedelus, Books on Tape, Baseck, 8-Bit Weapon, Kyoka, Como Osos.
