Combative is a New York City punk rock band that merges political and feminist narratives with high-powered riffs. Female fronted punk, Combative is reminisce of 90's rock bands Bikini Kill, Hole and Sleater Kinney. Also, influenced by the modern rock aesthetics of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs. Today, living in an uncertain political climate, Combative takes a bold stance against all odds. From their exploitative raw emotional vocals that lyrically battle patriarchal themes - infused with heavy hitting drums and dark bass; Combative is the sound of today’s resistance.
