Formed in 1997 as a 3piece, they wasted no time in playing and recording as much as any unknown independent could- and their hard work, and genuine love of their music payed off. Landing them a spot on THE ROBCOP CRAUS Japan Tour as well as the likes of DILLINGER FOUR, Q AND NOT YOU etc... and including a track to the official WEEZER tribute album... all before ever having an official release of their own. Fast-forward to the present. Now a 5-piece, COMEBACK MY DAUGHTERS has added a second guitarist and keys to their sound. The rapidly growing fascination with this band is their amazing talent at making and finding melody in everything that they do. The original and haunting vocal style of lead man Taka is bare-basic simple yet heart-breakingly powerful. He feels no need to go off on various scales and pitches hitting highs and lows, here and there...just raw, real and genuine emotion and honesty. From start to finish, "Spitting Kisses" is full of energy and does something extremely rare: never loses it's listener's interest in dull or boring "patches" in the album. All songs are packed with undeniable originality, energy, melody and emotion. A great album to leave in the car's cd player all summer.
