From filling clubs around Atlanta to being seen at comedy spots nightly perfecting her jokes at Punchline Atlanta, Laughing Skull, and even The World Famous Comedy Store, Angela Miller has come a long way from her start performing at a local urban club J Paul’s. Her natural God given energy on stage, punchline style jokes and life inspired humor cross all boundaries and make her one of THE COMICS to watch. Angela is able to perform in any venue for any crowd. Her multi-cultural raising and keen sense of reading people has made it possible for her to perform at shows from Uptown Comedy Corner to
Neighbors Pub. She appeals to all races, ages, and genders.
Born in Forest Park, Georgia, Angela credits her father and grandfather for her comedic and acting talents. Growing up, everyone she ever met constantly encouraged her to take part in school talent shows, to entertain family and friends at planned events, and was even voted Most Likely to be on Saturday Night Live. This encouragement led to performing at the Punchline Atlanta, then a trip to Los Angeles, and a performance at The World
Famous Comedy Store.
Since her first Punchline performance, Angela performed on Barry Sobel’s “Surprise Show” with Eddie Brill. She has opened for Barry Sobel, Margaret Cho, and Tom Rhodes. Angela recently placed 2nd on a made for TV show produced by J Anthony Brown called “WORDS”. She has also appeared on and produced the Jerry Springer show, and on Talk Soup on the E network. Angela has also produced, written, and hosted her own shows as well as been in featured films. She is a regular host, featured, and headlining comedian at dozens of top spots in Atlanta, and performs in comedy clubs both in the US and soon
internationally in a USO tour.
Angela lives in Atlanta, Georgia.
