Comedy & Tragedy is composed by DJs/Producers Jose Melendez (Comedy) and Josue Ortiz (Tragedy). They started at a young age when House music was only seen on underground clubs in their country. Their love for Electronic music inspired them not only to mix but to create beats like no other. Both at the age of 17 they decided they will get together to start making music under a a name that pretty much defined their characteristics and that will turn the table for their journey, Comedy & Tragedy. Comedy, Jose Melendez, defines the craziness and laughter of his human self and still be able to put that in music that will make everyone dance. Tragedy, Josue Ortiz, is a person that is straight forward and likes to get to the point and likes to see the dark side of the music by using effects and sample that will make you rock the music in you. Thus the name was born and were destined to continue on until everyone understands their true meaning of the music. Influenced by Deadmau5 and The Bloody Beetroots, they decided to wear masks to cover their identity as only to be judged by their music.
