CALI'S WHERE I STAY
Comfort Fedoke was born on May 20, in Dallas, Texas, and now resides in Los Angeles, California as she continues on in her career in the entertainment industry. At the age of thirteen, Comfort had already involved herself in the art of dance through street and taught herself how to dance by watching numerous break dance videos and emulating Michael and Janet Jackson; at the same time writing poetry and songs. As Comfort grew older she attended Booker T. Washington Performing Arts High School where she began to find her voice in music.
" I want my music to tell a story and paint a true image of my self and the things that are relevant to the mind. Im naturally a different artist because i live and breath street dance and I speak that through some of my music. Im a town boy and i embrace it; so i hope my artistry can inspire others to do the same." "In music I've been inspired by Lauryn Hill Missy Elliott, Aaliyah, Fela Kuti, P-square, Eve, Queen Latifah, Busta Ryhmes,Michael and janet jackson, Lupe Fiasco, Mya , lyfe jennings, Outcast, Pink,Erykah Badu,Hootie & the Blowfish man the list goes on and on Im also stuck in the 90's!"
“My music fights against the system that teaches to live and die. Life is like music; it must be composed by ear, feeling and instinct, NOT BY RULE.” A favorite quote from Samuel butleR
