Comic Books

Comic Books are a two piece from Milwaukee, Wisconsin that formed in 2007. Through the clouds of troubled teenaged angst, sneaking out to go to basement shows, girls houses and skateboarding through the night, Samuel Szymborski and Eliah Koerner have always had a knack for creating genuine make-you-miss-your-home music. Bonding over artists such as The Beach Boys and Weezer, The two have whole-heartedly have made music that not only has grown over the past six years but has been able to cross genres such as folk, surf, pop, bluegrass and punk. Their vocal harmonizes, unlimited pop/folkpunk riffs, early twenties angst, and lack of knowledge of how to grow up, has been able to shape themselves as individuals, music makers, and performers. The music Comic Books creates will make you miss your home, sit in the tall grass and wonder how things can be so wonderful and so terribly sad at the same time. The idea was to create universally accepted and appreciated tunes for the masses. We say everything your inner child wants to say.
