Feeling a bit camera shy

Committed began 2001 when the punk/emo influences had just begun to infect the silent masses of high-school kids that felt they needed a break from the slowly diminishing rap/metal years into a new more representative music.
Committed began to write these songs in this time of change that fit into the boom of the "Neo/emo/punk" genre that was approaching. When they released their first independently made, album "Contrary to Popular Belief" those local kids that were already listening to out-of-town bands like Committed, reacted very well to it. Esspecially since it was local. Committed played shows almost every weekend, and maxed out to 300 kids per show in the area.
Committed grew very much as a band in one year, and released their second album, now recorded in a studio, "Jigsaw", on a local Record Label called (Jimmy Style Records). This cd, allowed them to peak, and plays shows in MD, DE, NJ, Western PA, Philly, and many other places.
After much tri-state area success, the band demised with their release of "Green.light.go EP",on Driven Records. Band members left, and new ones replaced. 2005, Clark Vincent, and Chris Hill, joined the band to begin creating a new sound, and that is what they have been doing since then. Now Creating their touring schedule for the summer, and developing an even bigger following with, 70,000 plays on Purevolume, Committed has their talents honed and their sights set on getting a record deal.
