Bio
The Common Cross Theory got their start in late 2003 as a worship band in Haverhill, Massachusetts. Rich Lescarbeau (bass), Brad Spaulding (guitar), Nate Osgood (percussion) and Tony Papia (guitar/vocals) comprised the four-piece band that lead weekly worship for their youth group. The band wanted to reach out to more than those just involved in youth group, so they developed a unique sound of their own, challenging the carbon-copy sounds of modern rock today. Having written several originals, the CCT has since played several youth events and concert events in church settings. They have shared the stage with such acts as Jaded Thorns, Eastern Sky, Phineas and Blessed Endeavor. The Common Cross Theory recorded a brief live demo in early 2005 with the help of long time sound engineer David Spaulding of Double-Edge Music in Haverhill, MA. The CCT is in the process of recording their first full-length studio album. Rich, Brad, Nate and Tony are college students with a desire to grow in Christ and grow in their future as a band.
